Surbiton Hospital in the news again

Fascinating to see the front page of this week’s ‘Informer’. Hot on the heels of the latest Surbiton Hill In Touch out trots our Lib Dem MP with a spot of ‘me-too-ism’ if ever I saw one. Well, we welcome support from wherever, but I’m curious at the timing since, when I’ve tried to raise the issue at Health Overview Panel, there has been an embarrassed silence on all sides – including the MP’s party colleagues.

Actually the photo in the In Touch is three years old, showing how long a lead we have.

I note that the Council’s press office also put out a press release publicising the MP’s ‘initiative’. I’d have thought that he could afford his own publicity out of the £127,000 a year expenses he claims.
