Hope you are well, I read your blog a lot, and just had to comment on this post as it’s my sentiments exactly!

I thing now is a great time where all parties should be pushing towards campaigning on policy! I think the days of this sort of politics should be killed off and fought purely on the basis of accountability and policy as its elected members pushing policy that make the real changes not parties that can produce leaflets convincing the electorate that voting for them is the &#039;clever informed choice’.

Isn’t this what the leaders of the three major parties keep saying? Aren&#039;t parties that use terms like; ‘two horse race’ and ‘X can’t win here’ guilty of patronising the electorate and misguiding them? 

We should be allowed an informed debate of pure policy allowing the electorate to decide for themselves, now that would be a real change and the voters would certainly be winning here! (sorry couldn&#039;t resist)
